Burda WTG Term 2000 IP67<\/strong> is the only short-wave infrared heater on the market with a Low Glare bulb that emits 80% less light at the same efficiency, designed for outdoor areas with the highest level of water protection. The fully waterproof infrared heater (IP67) reliably delivers maximum heat output even in humidity, rain or snow. The integrated bulb achieves a lifetime of up to 5000 hours. How does it work?<\/strong>
\nInfrared radiation is divided into three wavelengths: long wave, medium wave and short wave. Only short-wavelength infrared rays can pass through the atmosphere without heating up, and are only converted to heat when they come into contact with denser substances such as bodies. Therefore, shortwave infrared heating does not heat the atmosphere, but only the body, which is the only sensible outdoor heating principle with an efficiency of as much as 93%.
